Old Johnson, Model # is 25r69d

I believe this motor is between a 69-72? its a 25hp outboard(Model # is 25r69d). I need to know the ratio of 2 cycle oil and gas. Also if anyone knows of a manual availible please let me know, thanx so much.<br />-adam

your engine is a 1969, spark plug champion-J4J,gap 0.030,point gap 0.020,<br />the oil mixture was 100:1 however in 1988 OMC service bulletin 2211, recomends all recreational outboards which were previously susing 100:1 to use 50:1 ratio.

fogot totell you that I use the Intertec outboard manual 11th edition vol #1 covering motors below 30 hp.
