Can someone please tell what year my motor was built? Evinrude 48 SP Model# E48ESLESA<br /> Serial # G02535607<br />Also would a lower unit of a Evinrude 45 fit the 48? Thanks for the help.

CCRedfish,<br />Your engine is a 1990,and yes I think that the two lowers will interchange. Depends on the difference in years.

The 45 is a 1989 so I would think the two would be compatible. Thanks for the info and quick response.
