Evinrude outboard 5522-12351 Year ? HP ?

Please, I need help to know the year and how many HP my engine has . That's a canadian one and it is very old and the serial number is 5522-12351. So, if somebody is able to help me you are welcome.Thanks in advance.

Hi lyse<br />Your motor is a 1961 5.5hp. This motor is not that old. Ain't even long in the tooth yet.

Thank you very much captain for these informations,I appreciate your help. By the mean time do you know how to remove the arm of the shifter to be able to disconnect the shift shaft because I want to change the water pump ? Thanks again ..
