1988 70hp johnson boggs at wot

I have a problem at wot,motor runs fine till the throttle is down fully,if i back off a bit i get a more grunt, you have a look at the carb /stator sink ,and its fully advanced to the stops ,then that last bit on the throttle cam is where it bogs.<br />Its got good com/and spark, cleaned the bowels out and filters.<br /> any help would be good before i take it into the shop

Howdy, Longak.<br /><br />You need to get more basic in your troubleshooting.<br /><br />Is it a fuel delivery problem? Squeeze your primer bulb. Does it pick up?<br /><br />Is it an ignition problem? Inspect your spark plugs immediately after the symptoms occur. One wet, the other two dry?<br /><br />Do you have a manual? With some feedback, we can help you find and fix the fault.<br /><br />Let us know what you find.<br /><br />Good luck.

longak Use the search and look this up under johnson 70 hp and the like,its been hashed to death your eyes will hurt if you read them all.<br />steve
