This engine was cooling fine until the thing was placed into gear at a high rpm. Now there is water coming out between the lower gear case and it overheats. I installed a new water pump kit after discovering one of the blades was torn. I also inspected the cooling using a flashlight to shine up into the shaft area as I hooked up a water hose. I discovered water coming out from an area to the left of the cooling tube and I don't think water is mixing with the exhaust as it is suppose to. There is water coming out of the tale-tale spout when the motor is running and also when I hook up the water hose, but again it overheats..?????

There shouldn't be any water coming out of the tell-tale when on the hose unless the motor is running. That means your impellor is letting water past, and so its not pumping the pressure it should be. Since you said this problem surfaced after being dropprd into gear at a high rpm and you did indeed have a bad impellor, I'd recheck the impellor installation first then look for a cracked case.
