I have a warning horn that comes on after engine has been running for about 10 minutes. The fuel filter has been replaced, I recently disconnected the fuel line at the primer bulb and drained the gas. THe vro system has been disconnected and we mix oil manually. Is the warning sound, that is continuous, can it be from the vacuum sensitive switch or the pulse limiter, I traced the fuel line and dont know where it can be coming from in short of replacing the vro pump. Can it be air in the line ??? very puzzled please help..

I'm pretty sure that the ccontinuous alarm is either the overheat alarm or a malfunction in either the heat sensors or the alarm buzzer itself. The first thing you need to do is make sure the motor is not overheating. Just because its pi$$ing doesn't mean much. With the motor at operating temp you should be able to put your hand on either head and keep it there for at least 4 or 5 seconds and both head should feel the same. To track down the alarm you can disconnect alarm (Tan) wires one at a time until you locate the fault circuit.

Did you disconnect th VRO pump and oil tank wiring harness? The only other senors is the overheat and fuel restriction.

Check for engine over heating, or bad sensor. Check fuel restriction sensor. Check for shorted wires.
