Question about older motor?

I recently found an older Johnson motor and would like to restore it but have no idea what year or where to start looking , do know model #JW-14 and serial # 1683725 any help I'd be greatful .

You can get aftermarket manuals at NAPA auto parts<br /> And they have most tune up parts. Points,<br />condensers,coils,impellers, carb kits some gaskets<br /> prop shaft seals and possibly more.<br /> Some branches dont have a clue about their<br />600 page marine products catalog.you may have to try a main store or branch.
