Saw in one of your posts that you have some parts for older OMC. I'm considering re-ringing my 1967 60hp V4 Evinrude (scored cylinders) depending on cost. I haven't had bores measured yet, but I expect I'll need oversize rings and a full set of gaskets, including water jacket cover gasket on heads, and O rings and and gaskets on crank etc and anything else you think I need. If you can supply, please email me an estimate of total cost at dwalltu@yahoo.com.au

Check your email for additional info. We closed our dealership but still have many parts in stock for these older engines. Original parts catalogs selling for $7.50 (postage included).

Tinkerer,
Those over-sized rings will have to go on over-sized pistons.

c/6

Hooty

Hooty

Thanks. I didn't think it through.

Might work out OK that it's not worth rebuilding as I've just stumbled across a nice old Mercury with lots of chrome. Maybe I'll end with two motors that aren't worth rebuilding, but at least one of them will look good. Will I ever learn?
