Lube For The Lower Unit ....

I got some wal mart Super Tech Marine Lower Unit Gear Lube, 80 - 90W with GL-5 performance<br /><br />Apparently my Colossus, that blasted big arse 125 Johnson, needs type C gear lube ... does GL-5 exceed that level? Sure seems that it does!

Hey CR...<br /><br />If yur shaker is an electric shift, you must use the premium C lube. It's made for electic shifts. <br /><br />Colossus? Yeah....that word fits.

When you are lubing your lower unit & I hope its your lower unit you are talking about you must use the recommended lubricant.
