What i have---<br />85 Johnson Seaking 4.5 hp 2 stroke and a 12footer jon boat -- had the motor serviced and alls well -- using 91octane gas and penzoil outboard 2 stroke oil with mixture of 3oz oil/gallon gas (50:1) -- using the motor for both full and trolling speeds<br /><br />My problem--<br />Took it to the lake 6 times and the last 2 times the performance became sluggish --- I seem to loose full throttle --- every once in a while the motor will act like it gets more RPMS and then bog back down<br /><br />What i've done--<br />Pulled plugs and saw it was oily and replaced them --- checked the spark on the plugs and both are firing --- compression on both piston are comparable -- took it out on the lake once more and same problem<br /><br />What i need to do---<br />carb might be too rich so i have to make sure the air/fuel mixture needs to be checked. Since i'm a newbee --- can anyone tell me where the screw is located?? Any other suggestions???<br /><br />Thanks in advance
