Yeah. What Bondo said, Athena.<br /><br />I have seen a few of those, then saw the same guys (usually old coots like me) using paddles or oars a week later.<br /><br />Welcome to iboats. :)

Athena,<br /><br />That thing looks an awful lot like my folk's ice-cream maker from the '50s! Don't think I'd want it on my boat. Electric trollers aren’t that expensive.<br /><br />tcube

Thanks everyone for the input. I'd have to agree with all the comments made. Was just curious about my great grandpas old trolling motor. Everyone have a Blessed Thanksgiving.

Well I'll be ...<br /><br />Got one at the stern, and my dad told me to keep turning. Thought it was the starting handle for the outboard!<br /><br />It was tough getting on the plane!

Looks like alot of work, Will probally scare the fish, and I would pass out and fall out of the boat after the first 100 ft. or so.
