35 HP Johnson Tiller Handle Extension

Does anybody out there know if anyone makes an extesnsion,or longer tiller arm, for outboards? I have been using one made for trolling motors but would like to get something a bit more solid. Anyone???? reelman39503@yahoo.com

I used a couple feet of that black drain pipe you see under your sink. <br />I painted it nice and it works a treat. (kinda looks funny

Cabela's has one that clamps on to the accellerator of your tiller.

pvc and a hose clamp works great for me. split the pvc long ways about 3 inches like a cross (4 slits) then put it over you handle and tap it on. tighten the clamp over the cuts you made in the pvc and you are good to go. cheap

Thanks wayne34609. Do you have some kind of a grip on the pvc? Seems like it would get pretty slick and be difficult to hold onto when wet.

well i had some of that spray on bed liner left from doing the bed of my truck. so i used it and it worked great for a grip that will not come off you can buy cans of that stuff at any auto store and you will be surprised all the stuff u will use it for.i also painted the wheel fenders on my trailer with it because i use them to stand on and it acts like a grip now
