I have twin 1987 1.6L Sea Drives. I am in the process of troubleshooting one of them.<br /><br />The tachs seem to operate normally on both motors at low and mid range rpm. However when you go to get up on a plane the port tach lags behind the other tach as both engines accelerate. At WOT the tach on the port engine reads around 4500 rpm and the starboard reads 52-5300 rpm. The engines at this point are running at approximately the same rpm - - you can hear when twins are in sync very clearly. This makes no sense to me.<br /><br />Any ideas???<br /><br />Howard
