Hi Oldboater.....the generic manuals should give you the info you need. They usually have wiring diagrams in the back. Check iboats store for the generic manuals.

Hi, here's a link to a generic T&T wiring pictorial for a 3 wire motor. Scroll down a bit, <br />as noted it's a bare bones diagram. The relays shown would be SPST, thats single pole, single throw type with 30-40 amp rated contacts and a 12 volt rated coil. The fat wires connect to the relay switching contacts, the small wires connect to the relay coil. A good source and what I use is relays from a car stereo shop, they use then for alarms. A 2 wire motor needs different relays wired differently since you have to reverse the polarity. Good luck. <br /><br /> http://www.brokeboats.com/trim.html
