I need answers to the following basic questions about the cooling system on this motor.
1. Once it's sent up into the motor by the water pump/impeller, where does the water go that is expelled out of the exhaust port and the pee hole or telltale?
2. I assume that the water circulates thru the cooling jacket on the motor but I don't understand if the water expelled from these two outlets does different things (cools different parts of the motor?)and why there are two different outlets

Cooling water is pushed to the power head by the water pump. The tell-tale is just a small line that is tapped into the power head to show that water is being pumped. Same water , same circuit. Usually a weak tell-tale indicates a weak pump. You may have a thermostat that controls power head temps too. With a thermostat, you may see more or less of a tell-tale stream as the thermostat opens and closes and can vary with RPMs, higher RPMs-more water pressure-stronger tell-tale.
