I am looking for any information on a old Johnson outboard. The model is A-80 and the serial number is 244307. I need a proper gas cap for it. any help or suggestions would be appreciated. thanks!
Howdy, Fred.<br /><br />That is a 1936 4.5HP.<br /><br />Set points at .020.<br /><br />Champion 5M was the original plug.<br /><br />Fuel mix is 24:1.<br /><br />Try www.aomci.org for more info and parts.<br /><br />Good luck.
