Dhadley question on 88 225hp vro johnson

i believe i saw your comments on a 1990, and today i found out my motor is an 1988 was this a good motor for that year ? and any other comments or recommendations, thanks

you atleast have the prefered larger bore.<br />easy to work on.

Basically the same motor. Big bore, open deck looper. If it ever needs to be rebuilt you can even use the 93 and newer lighter pistons and rods.<br /><br />Good luck!
