Turbojet S/No???

Hi, <br /><br />Can someone please let me know where to find the Serail Number for my TurboJet as I'm trying the figure out what year it is. <br /><br />Also, can anyone let me know where I can get as Service Manual for the TurboJet.<br /><br />Regards, <br /><br />Nigel Human

The TurboJets were manufactured from 1994 thru 1997. Regardless of its model year, there is only one factory service manual, p/n 503141. World-wide inventory indicates there are 2 of these manuals in European warehouse.<br /><br />The serial number tag is on the starboard side of the adapter plate. If its still there, it should be forward of the hose fitting and aft of the fuel system heat shield. You'll probably have some difficulty getting into position to see it though. <br /><br />It may be possible, IF the original powerhead is still installed, that you could find the model and/or serial number stamped into a welch plug on top of the starboard cylinder bank.<br /><br />Hope this helps.<br /><br />-John

Thanks John for the info, both my Flingd have the original powerheads, so I'll check there first.<br />Do you know where I can purchase one of those Service Manuals, as I've been trying everywhere with no luck.<br />Thanks again for your help, Nige.<br />
