Welcome!

Have you personally seen one of these boats go 70? Or been beside one? What power do they run? Are they carring 48 gal of fuel at 70? The exact same boat or one thats "the same as"?

I went thru this with a buddy of mine last year. He was bummed because all his flats boat buddies told him they were running 70+. His new boat only ran 65. As it turned out his 65 was faster than their 70.

What pitch prop do you run? You could step up one size for more speed but your holeshot might suffer.

Dont get too hung up on what you hear. Post your prop size and we'll run the numbers to get your slip numbers and go from there.

Good luck!

You might want to check out the bass boat central website for setup tips on your rig. They have been a ton of help for me. They have a setup library that you can probably find somebody with the same setup and see what they have tried. I don't want to start any wars with anyone or anything, but i have never heard much good said about the shooter series props. Seems like everyone is always talking about how much faster their renegade bass or trophy plus four blades are than the shooter they were running before. Who knows though, every boat is different. I'm already on my sixth different kind of prop trying to get that last few mph out of it. good luck,
Steve
