I was wondering if anyone out there has experienced any bad hulls with an Angler Boat and what Angler did to correct it? I have a 32 ft Angler and have been told that the hull is rotted and has stress cracks. Not sure what my next step should be. It is currently in the shop and Angler is requesting more info. Anyone else go through this???

Are you asking about Angler, from Miami Fl.?
I believe their biggest boat is a 31'center console. It's a new model and does not have any wood in it's construction. What do you mean, when you say, the hull is rotted?

Sorry about that Mike maybe I should say it is a 26 footer. I was adding transum and bow length. What do I mean by rotted? Well I was told it was rotted and warped. My boat does have wood, it is a 1992. Do you have any info on this at all. I was always under the impression that Angler Hulls are guaranteed for life. I was told when I bought it that it was fiberglass.

Re: Angler Hull

For what it's worth, your boat is the first Angler I've ever heard of, with those problems. I have a 20'1999 Angler, that has a limited lifetime warranty(whatever that means). It replaced a 1996 18' Angler, that had a 5 year hull warranty.Your 1992 probably had a 5yr warranty.Anglers seem to be noted for stress cracks which normally aren't serious (both of mine have/had them).
I was drilling holes, in the transom of my 18'for a bracket, for an Armstrong boarding ladder.I found that the transom(wood back then)was loaded with water. It seems that the riggers, never bothered to seal the thru-hulls, for the self bailing cockpit .Those thru-hulls, sat so low on the transom, that whenever the boat was in the water(I always trailered the boat)the transom would absorb more water.I brought the boat, back to Angler, any they agreed to build me another boat.My boat was just under two years old at the time. They will stand behind their product but you have a 10yr old boat and unless you have a problem similar to mine I don't know what they'll do for you. I can see why they would want more info (rotted and warped?).I guess if your stringers somehow rotted out, your hull could/would warp. Best of luck, and please keep us updated on your dealings with Angler.
