Thats a pretty good boat, one of the best makes at that time as far as I'm concerned. Good boat. I've never heard anyone complain about a Formula. If it has an alpha drive I would be a little concerned, but that would depend on the price. People tend to ask to much for these boats and they sit around for sale awhile.

I don't know what kind of Formula you are looking at but I have a 1988 232LS with a 454 and a Bravo I outdrive. It is a really great boat and still a real looker. The ride is great and construction is top notch. Mine will run about 60 mph. Easy to maintain and keep clean. I love my Formula!!

I have a friend that has that exact boat, same year and all. His has a bravoI drive on it. Nice boat.
