Hello,
I have a 1960 Evinrude Starflite which I currently have a manual ordered for. I also have new points and condensors which I plan to replace on the engine.

Where are the points and condensors located so I can possibly do some work on the engine before the manual gets here (I'm anxious)?

Thanks a bunch,
BJ :D

Should be just under the flywheel.

If you don't know where they are you should wait for the book. I don't know what hp motor you have but the 4cyls have distributor or magneto and that's where the points and condenser are...just a Thoguht :)

It would be better with more info about the motor , but lets try .

Is this your engine Picture ?

If so , the point and condenser are placed under the pulley .

You can probably remove the unit , but would waited until the manual did arrive :)
