Evinrude Sporttwin 9.5

Any Idea on what age this motor is and how much it is worth Model# is 9622A. I assumed it was a '96. But after much research, doesnt seem to matter on Numbers. I paid $25.00 at a yard sale, figuring I would probably have to rebuild it. It started first pull on a 32:1 mix, didn't even run rough until I started to fine tune it. If anyone knows please help.

That's a 1966, Chris. The correct mix is 50:1, though a slightly richer mix will do no harm, except smoke and extra deposits on plugs.<br /><br />You got a heck of a deal on a good engine. Congratulations! <br /><br />Welcome to iboats.

awsome deal i have a few of them motors maybe i need to check the yardsales down that way lol
