Ok went out today the boat ran fine for 30 minutes. We stopped for a while to play. When we started again it quit when i went to go about half trottle or higher. It slowly stalls like there is no fuel. This is the second time this has happened on a trip.I did a seafoam treatment and that was no help.It does run smoother though.I ran it at about 2000 rpm and it seems fine we went for about 5 miles like that. But as soon as I went to goose it again it cut slowly cut out.The bulb is about half full when this happens not hard(should it be)it is not collapse though'just soft.If I choke it there is no difference either as it starts to die.85 1.6 omc seadrive.Carbs where rebuilt in 2002.any help would be great.

Re: motors quits

Astro....check the primer bulb for any valves that may have fallen apart and make sure the fuel tank is venting.

Take a look at any fuel lines that may need replaced because they are hard and have lost their grip at connection points.

Next time it starts to die, pump the primer bulb and see if it picks back up. This could mean the fuel pump is failing.

Keep us posted....thanks.
