hey guys thanks for the forum and accepting new members.im a newbie to boat motors and i just purchased a boat with a 1976 johnson stinger 75hp. the problem is it starts great and idles great,when u push the throttle all the way down sometimes it will pick up and plane out and sometimes it wont. i changed the powerpack but still have no fire to the #2 coil, i changed the wiring around to chk the coil and it is good. i believe the problem is in the white sensor wire that feeds 1 side of my powerpack but im not sure what those sensors do or if that will even cause the problems im experiencing, any help on this subject would be greatly appreciated. thank you.
