Re: Diagnostic Software

Any authorized dealer can order it for you, along with the software instruction booklet, service manual, and adapter cable.

Re: Diagnostic Software

The floppy disk DOS operating system floppy is only around $30 but the Windows CD diagnostic software is about $200.

Re: Diagnostic Software

will just the DOS software work fine? I mean I dont really need something that is pretty to look at as long as it will tell me whats going on with my engine!

Re: Diagnostic Software

I have the PDA software Engine Diagnostic 1.0 and find it the easiest to use onboard and underway. A laptop is too expensive to replace if damaged by water.
A new version is out now and it can be bought from Bombardier/Evinrude with the PDA , complete.
Check for prices in the $300.00 range.
The good thing it is afforable compared to other company's that charge in the thousands for hand held diagnostic computers!
