Please help. I'm new and trying to winterize without killing the only OB I've ever had. Thanks.

Mac, I did as you suggested and noted only stuff related to computers. Not certain where you were trying to point me, I did a search and came up with 7 hits, but continually get kicked off line before it finishes. I just did another search targeting Johnson/Evinrude trouble shooting & repairs with no hits. Can you be more specific on where I should look? Thanks

Snake Eyes -
To the confusion of everyone, we have a FAQ forum and a forum FAQ.
FAQ Forum, click here.

Have a look at the Oil mix guide, the Winterization links, and the Decarb guides.
Your mix is 50:1 87 octane gas to TC-W3 rated outboard oil.
The lower unit oil for your engine is OMC/BRP 'HiVis' or common 90/80w outboard gearcase oil found at Walmart, etc.
Spark plugs are Champion QL77JC4 gapped at .030"

Flakey internet connections are a pain! Good luck!
