What year is my Evinrude motor?

I was recently given an older Evinrude motor and would like to know what year it was made, so I can get a repair manual.<br />It is model #E4RLESR SN.B2417058. <br />4 HP Yachtwin.<br />Please feel free to e-mail me.<br />Thank you.

i have a evinrude 25 hp all i have is the serial number it is 25103se02964 just want to find out the year if possible off that little bit of info. if that doesnt help me out where on the motor can i find the model number? i have no owners manual to find out. any info of the year would be greatly appreciated.

If you have a question it is better to start your own new topic rather than tag it on to someone elses.

However 25103 is the model number and tells us its a 1971 25hp.

Post 1964 its 50:1 Regular grade gasoline and TCW-3 oil
