Welcome to Iboats, Freeloader!

It's exclusively a Canadian Johnson - that's all I can find out. Try over at AOMCI.
I understand that they are similair to the Johnson K models, made in the 20's and 30's.
Interesting link.

Good luck!

I found an 8 horse OK 55 made in '31 and '32.A 7 horse OK60 made in '32 and an OK75 made in 1935.This one is 8.1 horse. There are also a number of OK engines that were made in Canada after worldwar 2,although I did not see much info about them.

Re: what year is my Johnson motor?

freeloader,

I have a 1975 Johnson 9.9 and just recently tried to find parts for it. I found this link, http://www.marineengine.com/manuals/johnson/ that has a lot of serial#/years crossreferenced. I didn't see your OK15, but maybe they might also know if you contact them as they have quite a few other "OK" models listed.

Good luck,

DD
