Barttery cable sleeve, 90 HP Johnson, P/N?

Dealer supplied P/N 512423 for my 90 HP Johnson for use where the battery cables & control wiring enter the housing (lower left looking forward). The part is called a sleeve, but really just flat rubber piece about 1/32 thick, 1 3/8 * 3 1/4.<br /> Anyone know if there should actually be a sleeve similar to the control cable entry point? Or should this flat piece just be taped in place to protect the wires?<br /> Motor is J90TLA TS, 1993.<br /> Thanks, this is a great forum!!<br /> Joe

Joe,I just looked it up and come to the same number.It is a flat piece of rubber.Save the $3.10 and improvise.<br />DHP
