Re: Gas fitting for Sea Horse 5 1/2
Don't worry so much about the fitting then, instead try looking for a tank. If you're lucky you'll get the fittings you need with it. Check around at the local outboard shops - one might have one kicking around. There's a few on ebay right now. Search for the following:
(double line, pressure, two line) tank (omc, johnson, evinrude)

That usually finds them all. Tank rebuild kits are still available and you can get them here:
Laing's

An alternative is to switch it over to a modern one line tank, but after buying the tank, fuel pump, fittings, etc you need you usually end up in the hole compared to purchasing an old pressure tank and cleaning it up.

Here's some more information on your CD-16:
Year: 1959
HP: 5.5
WOT RPMS: 4000
Displacement: 8.84 cu.in. = 144.8 ccm
Cylinders: 2
Weight: 56 lbs
Gear ratio: 15:26
Spark plugs: Champion J6C (J6J is NLA) gapped at .030"
Fuel/Oil mix: 24:1 87 octane gas to TC-W3 rated outboard oil.
Lower unit oil: OMC/BRP 'HiVis' or equivalent 90/80w outboard gearcase oil.
Ken Cook

EDIT: In '59 the pressurized system was still used in the under-35hp outboards. In '60 they were all regular suction tanks. Well, except for the gravity fed 3hp anyway. Now how did I miss all those connectors anyway?? "(omc, johnson, evinrude) connector"
