Hey guys I have a couple of questions I want to ask you.

1. I've got a 89 Evinrude 60 HP three cylinder with a bad VRO. My question is can the VRO pump be replaced with just a regular fuel pump (part number if you have one) if I want to premix my gas. I know you can use the VRO pump itself as a fuel pump except this one is leaking. I figure its cheaper to replace with a regular fuel pump instead of a new VRO (is this right?) Any installation instructions or tips would be greatly appreciated.

2. Carbs on same motor are leaking fuel. Is this a difficult job to rebuild these?

Thanks for reading
Matt

The new VRO (OMS) pumps are very reliable... I would recommend installing it.

Carbs are very easy on that engine... follow the service manual, you'll be fine.

Dont forget to synch and link
