ANYWAY AFTER PUTTING THE IDLE LEVER ALL THE WAY UP & CHOKING THE ENGINE FUEL JUST POURS OUT THE FRONT ON BOTH CARBS WHILE IT IS ATTEMPTING TO CRANK.
ANY SUGGESTIONS??????? THANKS IN ADVANCE

DRT....sounds like the carbs may need a good cleaning and over haul. When the fuel pours out the throat, it usually means the needle or float ain't doin their job of cutting off the fuel supply to the carb.

What is the horsepower of your 79?

And please use small case letters when posting....we know you ain't mad but it makes ya' sound like yer' yellin'.....so to speak... :D

When you pull those floats, shake them and listen for fluid sloshing around inside of them. They may be leaking and "sinking". I had this just happen to me. Although rare, it does happen.
