Yes, I believe it will if the driveshaft/crank splines are the same count. But it shifts opposite so you will need the linkage from the donor lower units powerhead.
The '73 was a reverse throw shift. Won't work on the '75 unless you change the way the shift throws.<br /><br />Meaning....on the '75, the shift rod would need to move up to shift to forward. On the '73, the shift rod moves down for forward......think I got that right.....
