Stuck lower unit

I took out the 4 bolts holding the lower unit of my 1982 Evinrude 60hp outboard. My manual doesn't go into detail on how to remove a stuck lower unit. Any suggestions on how to without damaging it?<br /><br />Thanks<br /><br />Cal

Have you disconnected the shift rod and peeked under the trim tab for another bolt???

no I haven't. I didn't see that in the manual.
