What happened on this forum? Did everyone pull their boats out of storage and try to start 'em up this past weekend? Talk about opening the flood gates. :D

Hi Mark,
did it last Friday.....it was so CLEEEAAANN !!!
On Sunday we got cooked (28C) and today it's close to 6C. But the motor sings, the speedo is hooked up (27mph on pitot) and the Poppa is happy. Same for Momma and Droopy the Cocker.
Frank

Re: Holy Moly!

Its known as "Spring Fever". With the late snow up north it will continue into late May. Some people will wait until just before Memorial weekend to try their motors. Some will be less than pleased.

Re: Holy Moly!

I'm one of the guilty who just got their boat out. I have neglected the forum over the winter sorry :( . I had some hickups after my first run this year, but from all the reading I have previously done on this forum. I was back on the water again in no time. No quit playing on the computer and go boating!

Unfortunately haven't been able to fire mine up yet, but you've been helping me all spring. Thanks.

Re: Holy Moly!

I like Spring Fever a heck of a lot better than Cabin Fever. With this past winter I almost didn't make it, broke it out of the cacoon 3 weeks ago, and ran it WOT into the middle of the bay, ran perfect, better than when I put it away if that's possible. Then I decided to install a full RADAR, GPS, and new depth system, went pretty smooth, works good, just shuts down every time I start my Starboard motor thanks to a voltage drop, so I've been spending my time on the Electronics forum, no matter what part of this site you go to you get good guys willing to help.
