J120TLES on a 1990 Sunbird 204 CC:<br /><br />First, my thanks go out to all who have answered my posts about my new (to me) boat and motor. Friday I replaced the timer base, 4 coils, power pack, wires and plugs. THIS THING NOW RUNS GREAT!! 
<br /><br />Now a new question. My boat has the OMC System Matched gauges and I think i have a tach issue. Boat seems to be going WOT but tach only hovers around 3k. Where do i start looking for the problem. Could the tach just be ready for replacement or is there a connection to look for somewhere? Any ideas would be appreciated. <br />Thanks, John<br /><br />Also, I did clean all the connections under the power pack when I had it off.
