Nauticus Mobster Tabs fit Nitro 898?

Have 2005 Nitro 898 w/200 OptiMax. Boat porpoises excessively at mid range speeds. Considering putting the Nauticus tabs for bass boats on to correct the problem and keep the bow down while getting on plane. Would these tabs fit this boat w/o interfering w/trailer tiedowns?<br />Thanx

This may not be the only application issue. If you could provide a picture of your transom we could give you some suggestions. You may need to move the tiedowns on the trailer but you will first need to determine if there is enough room on the transom for the Tabs. The width is 10" for the hinge, and the distance from the bottom of the transom up to the mounting location for the top bracket is about 10.5". Dont make the mistake of thinking that you will not have porposing at all with the tabs. I can make mine porpose if I trim too much at slow speeds still. Porposing is usually caused buy just what I described. It will certainly help a whole bunch though.<br /><br />Also, it will eleiminate any chinewalking you may have to drive through now. (Not recommended).
