I have a wierd issue with my t&t. When I bought the boat the switch on the controls (single lever hidden type) did not work. I added a switch on my dash for the t&t and it worked fine. Now the red wire in the harness leading to the switch only reads 3.5 volts and no longer works the trim. I do have 12 volts in that wire outside of the cowl but not at the dash. Any ideas? Should I just run a new wire? Could a poor connection in the relay box be causing voltage drop? It's strange that it reads 12v in the harness in the splashwell area but 3.5v 10 feet away.
