when i pull start my motor the cord doesnt retract sometimes till i jigle it,what up with that,

You don't say what size engine you have, but most rewind's need a good cleaning, and re-lube when they do that.

sometimes wd-40 works great to free them up. use the little red tube and give the guts a good bath. i use it on all my pull start equipment.
