1996 Envinrude 88 HP SPL engine controls / parts

While rebuilding the console on my boat, I accidentally damaged a component with in the engine control. I’m not sure what the part is called, but it is connected to one of the cables (I think the cable was bound, I moved the shift/throttle control backwards, and this part broke). Does anyone know where to purchase replacement parts for these controls or does anyone know how much new controls may cost? 1996 88 HP Envinrude SPL. Thanks.

Did that link work for you? After inputing my email address and clicking the button labeled "View Parts Catalog", the next page reads: "Looking for a part? <br />Save time by using the new SEARCH function in 3 easy steps" Yet there is no place for you to choose the year, model or anything! I just tried and couldn't get in. The link is good as I use it often. I'd wait an hour and try again.

You can also get the same part numbers from ishopmarine. Choose Parts Lists on the left and follow the links.

Hi, you'll actuallly find the remote control listed under OB Accessiories located at the bottom of the page at the ishopmarine web site, you'll need to select the year of your motor and you'll see it listed
