You might want to check those #'s again.<br />If you have a 1992 Evinrude 225 the model # should read E225txet. Which shows tilt/trim and extra long shaft length.<br /><br />Here is a link to the model # key<br />www.brokeboats.com/omcid.html

Hi i keep looking at the M# and the tag is in good shape .it says clear as day E225 txatf,ser#g 03298153 any help would be great thanks JD

That's a good model number and the engine is a 1993.

Sorry..fat finger typist here I meant 1993<br />And it should be ET not AT in the model #. If indeed it does read AT...I'm at a loss.
