I have just replaced the coils because one had no spark. The problem I am having is how do I measure the gap between the flywheel and the coil. To me its not accessable. .20 is recommended.
Welcome to iboats. <br /><br />The posts that the coils are mounted to are machined. If you align the coil frames with the machined edge of those, you'll be close enough. Points gap is .020
Neighbor had the same answer. thanks for the info. after replacing coils one cylinder still not firing. I think next step should be condensers. any suggestions would be appreciated.
