It's very nicely accessible, up in the cylinder head above the plugs. The lid with four screws, you can't miss it.

Hopefully two of the bolts aren't broken off like those in the picture. In case your interested, the tan wire at the left of the stat housing is for the temp sensor should you ever need to deal with it.

It just looks that way in the pic, Upinsmoke. They are there and doing just fine....
