I recently bought a used 6 HP kiekhaefer built mercury Serial # 2083941. I was told that the engine runs but does not pump water. I need the year to purchase the correct parts to repair rollagraham@comcast.net

That motor is a 1966 6hp. The impellor is part#47-89981, and you can get it right from this site for $8.47<br /><br /> Impellor 4th one down
