Last summer I was getting foaming lower unit<br />lube in the bilge. We discovered a crack in the<br />lower unit and repaired. We installed new seals<br />and water pump but problem persisted. I was told<br />to give up on the lower and find a new case or<br />get a rebuilt. I just bought one on ebay and<br />am ready to install. I am wondering if there <br />could also be a problem in the upper half. I just<br />can't figure out how the lube got into the bilge.<br />Any suggestions?
