Hi, would i need the the motor serial number to get a prop. for it? is a mecury 1987 200hp with a nosecone lower unit and there is no prop. How can I get a prop. for it?<br />Thank's

Motor serial # may be usefull, but the kind of boat (weight etc) it will be pushing will be more important. Depending on the boat you're pushing you may need a 17 to 24 pitch prop to turn the proper RPM's at WOT.

Unless you buy my Hydrostream. Then you'll need something in the 28 to 30" range.<br /><br />The point is that you'll have to get the boat set up and running and then test. Once you get the hull and decide on the set up (jackplate - manual or hydraulic, set back - how much etc) you can start to look for a prop.<br /><br />We can get you close but we gotta have an idea of what hull design.<br /><br />Good luck!

what kinda boat are you pushing. I love the merc high five (5)blade. Very little cavitation. I would recommend a 19 to 21 pitch for 16-21foot boat while skiing
