I have a Mariner 150 and the fuse keeps blowing on the coil on the right side of the motor. This happens each time I turn the ignition key. If anyone can help me to figure out why this is happening and what I need to do to fix it, please advise as soon as possible. Your help greatly appreciated!!

Hi Brell, I don't know a mariner 150 from a lawn mower engine so this is general purpose troubleshooting advice based on you problem description. When you say the right side coil I assume you have two coils. Here's what I would do, if the coils are identical mark the coils with masking tape and pen so you remember which is which, and then swap the coils to see if the problem follows the right side coil, if it does then the coil is shorted, if not then something else is bad or shorted. Or disconnect the wires or connectors from both coils and check the resistance between terminals and to ground and compare the readings, if one is very different than the right side coil is likely shorted, if the readings are similar then something else is blowing the fuse. Check for bare wires, crimped or pinched wires, obvious stuff like that. Good luck.
