ya ur impeller is located in the lower unit.. its not too hard to take off either.. should be 4 or 5 bolts.. the impeller housing is located right on the main drive ull just have to take the top off and the gaskets pull the old one out and put new in.. make sure not to fiddle around with gears when lower unit is dropped, it could be trouble.. just make sure u leave it in the same gear as when u took it out.. hope that helps..
