Offshore or not????

I am contemplating purchasing a 21' Sea Ray Laguna with a 1999 Merc Offshore.... Can anyone tell me what the difference is between an "offshore model" and a regular??<br /><br />THX

More extensive, or total, use of stainless steel fasteners. <br /><br />It may also have other stainless components.

djohns19 ...thx... I could not find any info on the net regarding the diff. or "features" of the Offshore model of Mercury. I found info on the Saltwater series of optimax, but thats about it...
